How to Play & Win at Online Video Poker
You begin by placing your wager. First, select the value of your coins. Choose from $0.25 to $5 in $0.25 increments. Second, select how many coins from one to five you would like to use in the game. If you like, you may also select to bet the maximum (5 coins) at the value you have specified.
After selecting your wager, you start with a hand consisting of five cards. The cards are rated normally as they are in a regular card deck going from Ace through 2. You want to make the best hand possible with your five cards. You are dealt five cards and you can keep or discard as many of them as you want. You click hold to keep the card or cards you want, and then click deal to get new cards. After getting your new cards, the hand is graded according to poker hand rules, and you are paid based on your hand. You have one chance at making any changes, after that change, new cards are dealth and any winnings if any are calculated according to the pay table.

As you can see from the table above, if you were to wager a 2 coin bet, each coin being $0.50c and you end up with a full house, you would win 18 coins, or $0.50 x 18 = $9. The best chances at winning at video poker is by looking at the paytable. Looking at 1 coins column, we can see that a full house pays 9 coins and flush pays 6 coins. This is the highest payrate available to video poker. Some casinos pay less which results in their favour. Always keep an eye out for 9/6 paytables.
